Brand Champion of the Day- Rudi's Bakery

Brand champion 3 tm

The organic bread company, Rudi's Bakery, will begin an advertising campaign this month that encourages people to read the ingredients and nutrition labels on products before purchasing. As you know, I am not a big fan of advertising. Too many organizations spend way too much money on advertising, without  a brand platform to guide it, or an assessment tool to measure its success. Not to mention the fact that most consumers do not trust advertising. I think there is value for advertising when it is utilized in an educational context or to increase awareness for a cause like nutrition.

Rudi's conducted research related to consumer concerns about bread. The findings indicated that 60 percent of those surveyed with young children try not to purchase products high in fructose corn syrup. As you might know, Rudi's products contain low amounts. I was impressed to see that nutritional education is also a big part of the Rudi's website content.

For their brand attributes including educating the consumer, Rudi's Bakery is the Brand Champion of the Day!
