IKEA Brand and Communities

 

This week I read that IKEA is finally coming to my community. Like many iconic brands, the Swedish furniture company is coveted by cities around the world. For many people, they agree that their city has "arrived" when IKEA comes to town.

IKEA was founded in 1943 by Ingvar Kamprad and today has a following that any brand would love. Devoted brand champions, like those of IKEA is what we all dream about. There are currently over 240 stores worldwide and 35 here in the US, and countless brand champions.
