Trusted Brands

CNN, the pioneer in 24 hour news, is one of my trusted brands. That thinking was reinforced earlier this week while watching their coverage of Hurricane Gustav in the southern parts of the United States. While their political coverage can get a bit long-winded, the cable giant excels during events like Gustav. I am a brand champion of CNN.

Sometimes when a brand gains our trust, especially over a long period of time, it runs the risk of being taken for granted. I think I have been guilty of taking CNN for granted. Unfortunately it took Gustav to remind me how much I rely on CNN.
