Who did you think I was going to mention, Tiger Woods? Now that you mention it, I did not miss Tiger Woods at all this past weekend. Although I got tired of hearing his name repeated by the announcers over and over. It was refreshing watching an authentic brand of champion. You probably know by now that McIlroy lapped the field and won the U.S. Open golf championship by setting or tying a dozen records.
He did so in style. His brand attributes represent humility, determination, kindness and a sense of humor. Assets that many other professional golfers possess. Assets that others do not. I hope said ex-champion was watching and taking notes. You see, one does not have to walk around the course like someone from a landed class. A true champion walks around the course, win or lose, with class.
Here is to a new and up and comer. One who can be a role model for younger (and older) folks. Here is to a Northern Ireland lad coming across the pond to whip the rest of the world at a gentleman's game. Rory McIlroy is the Brand Champion of the Day. You will have a legion of brand champions if you stay the course (off and on).

I also follow through Google Reader!

Nice topic and post, as we were just talking about what things can happen in the medicine industry.
